Against the tide

"Against the tide" brings to the stage the strain and struggle of a life lived in a non-conformist way. Encompassing movement that ebbs and flows with and against the tide of life.

A 2022 International Online Dance Competition (IODC) choreography finalist, Against the tide is a 5-minute contemporary dance solo with a twist. Leaving audiences to ask themselves, "What am I striving for? Am I heading in the right direction? Am I happy?"

Originally created as a dance film and later adapted for the stage and performed alongside E33 Dance Company at the Wandsworth Arts Fringe 2022.
