Join Dew Dance for an evening of uplifting and thought-provoking dance
Life in Bucks is busy. We rush from one thing to the next, often forgetting what it means to rest.
Come to the Water is more than a dance show — it’s a shared moment of stillness, beauty, and reflection.
This is your chance to step away from the noise and experience rest in a whole new way.

Event Details
Experience an evening of professional contemporary dance in the heart of High Wycombe. Dew Dance premieres Come to the Water, a moving exploration of rest, connection, and the human search for renewal in a world that never stops.
Through striking solos, intimate duets, and original choreography, the performance reflects on exhaustion, isolation, and what it might mean to simply pause and receive. Original music composed by local composer James Woodhall enhances the emotional journey.
The evening is part of the Buckinghamshire History Festival and also features performances from other exciting Buckinghamshire-based dance companies performing dance styles including Classical Indian, Indian contemporary, contemporary and modern influenced dance styles , creating a showcase of the county’s vibrant dance scene.
Join us for an unforgettable night of thought-provoking and emotionally stirring dance.
Headlines
Kalinka BCN - FLÂNERIE
Kathak, reimagined for today.
Sharp. Rhythmic. Full of humor, heart — and history.
FLÂNERIE- Aimless migrating is a choreography born from the roots — carrying the artistry of nomadic storytellers of India, whose tales move like travelers across time.

It’s a story so personal, so eventful — a dance of constant migration, not toward an end, but for the love of movement itself.
Expect playful spins, rhythmic banter between Kathak and Tabla, laughter, and a finale that lands with the thrill of a perfect END in time. Tradition meets spontaneity. Rhythm meets storytelling. You meet the journey.
Naad - Umang
Naad is Pagrav Dance Company's pre-professional performance group
Umang (meaning "joy") captivates with its radiant flair, seamlessly blending intricate nritta and expressive nritya in a mesmerizing flow over ektaal. Originally commissioned for Shapoorji Pallonji & Co's 150th anniversary, this Kathak masterpiece embodies grace and rhythm.
